The E&M Compactor is a maintenance-free product with few moving parts, and no intermediate bearings. It combines the functions of dewatering, volume-reduction and deposit-collection in one self-contained machine. Units of varying sizes and configurations have been employed in numerous applications such as municipal waste-water treatment and in paper-pulping.
A 300mm-diameter screw compactor under construction: this unit will have a capacity of over 4m3/hour, and is destined for Europe. Whilst it will be entirely workshop-assembled, this model will be plumbed in at site with the high-intensity screenings washing facility, the E&M Jetbreaker.
